Frequently Asked Questions

Delivery:
Includes calling the consumer the night before and establishing a two hour window for the following day, bringing the product to your house, proper normal installation in the house of all non built-in items and removal of all the packaging debris and your old appliance.

 

24 Hour Delivery:
In the event that your old refrigerator or freezer fails, Appliance Giant will deliver a new refrigerator or freezer within 24 hours if the unit is in stock. On all other items, the Giant will make every attempt to get the product to you within 24 hours, or as soon as possible. It is the consumer’s responsibility to clear the path through the house of furniture etc. as well as to keep the side walk free of snow and ice.

 

Same Day Delivery Service:
We will deliver your appliance the same day if the purchase is made before
1 p.m. and if the product is available.

 

Removal:
Removal of your old appliance Is included free of charge with delivery of a replacement.

 

Built in Installation:
The Appliance Giant will install dishwashers, micro hoods, wall ovens, cook tops and more - please call for pricing.

 

Appliance Repair:
Appliance Giant will repair any appliance we sell, both in and out of warranty. Any General Electric appliance is always serviced through G.E. during the warranty period, and afterward by both G.E. and the Appliance Giant.

 

Price Guarantee:
Appliance Giant will guarantee the price of any product we sell and in the unlikely event that a lower price is found, the Giant will match that price and give you 10% of the difference. If the Giant can't match that price then we will give you $100. The comparison must be made of identical items and new in a box. See store for details.

 

Extended Service:
The Giant offers extremely reasonable extended service plans. (All parts, labor, and trip charges are included)

The five year special breaks down to about $2.48 per month. With the cost of today's service, the Giant feels this is a great value.

 

6-24 Months with No Interest:
The Giant always has 6 months 0% interest on any purchase over $499. The Giant will also offer 24 months with no interest to any purchase of over $750 if order is placed 2 weeks before delivery.

 

Rebates:
The Giant has all the different manufactures rebates and many of our own.

 

Clearance:
The Giant has the largest clearance center in the Capital District. These items consist of scratched and dented, one of a kinds, closeouts, left overs, wrong orders and extras. For more information on clearance pieces, see “clearance and specials” on home page.

 

Recondition:
The Giant tries to keep an inventory of reconditioned appliances on hand, but because of the high quality and low price of this merchandise we may not always have what your looking for. If you let us know in advance, we will make every effort to secure those items for you.

 

Kitchen Design:
Because of our subsidiary, Camelot Kitchens, our customers have access to one of the largest kitchen design showrooms in the Capital District located within Appliance Giant's showroom. The Giant specializes in cabinet, countertops and appliances packages resulting in saving you serious money.

 

Package Pricing:
The Giant gives discounts on all multiple piece purchases. These discounts can amount to 10%-25% and more.

 

Appliance Storage:
The Giant will hold your purchase until you are ready for delivery. We have many customers whose orders are being held while their house is being built, for 4, 5, 6 months or more. Also this will allow you to lock in and take advantage of sale pricing and manufacturers rebates.
